Job Description :
My clients in Hampshire are looking for an Operations Manager Photonics / Fibre.
This role is commutable from Winchester, Eastleigh, Southampton, Romsey, Portsmouth, Fareham.
The succesful candidate will manage the development and implementation of processes, projects and products in an Engineering & Manufacturing environment.
You will be responsible for delivering results in terms of metrics impact, cost objectives & control, process methods, resource utilization, quality & environmental responsibility.
You will work with your teams to establish operational objectives and create work plans and budgets.
You will determine approaches for effective process improvement.
Skills (Years Experience) :
Successful candidates will have:
* a solid technical and business knowledge of manufacturing in relevant technologies (optical fiber, semi-conductor, photonics etc.)
* expert systems project management skills in Engineering and Manufacturing areas.
